Routes and terminals explained
All three Diesel n' Steel routes out of Bulakan compared by length, fare steps and full-load earnings, plus the four towns and their terminals and drop-offs.
Guiguinto-Bulakan is the short flat-fare route, Balagtas-Bulakan is the medium two-step route, and Malolos-Bulakan via Atlag is the long seven-step route that pays the most per full load.
Every route in Diesel n' Steel starts and ends in Bulakan. There are three of them, they connect four towns, and they differ in three ways that decide whether a run is worth your fuel: how long they are, how many fare steps the drivers have to calculate, and how much a full jeepney returns.
| Route | Stops | Length | Fare range | Full-load value with the DF Devera |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Bulakan - Guiguinto | 4, flat fare | roughly 4 in-game km | PHP 13 flat | PHP 420 to 455 |
| Bulakan - Balagtas | 4, two fare steps | roughly 4.5 in-game km | PHP 13 to PHP 15 | PHP 455 to 525 |
| Bulakan - Malolos via Atlag | 7 fare steps | roughly 10 in-game km | PHP 14 to PHP 25 | PHP 735 to 875 |

Guiguinto - Bulakan: the beginner line
Four kilometres, one flat fare at every stop, and no arithmetic beyond remembering that PHP 13 and PHP 11 are the only two numbers that exist on it. That combination is why it is the route to learn the clutch on and the route to farm EXP on when you need 500 in a hurry.
The terminal is busy, though. Guiguinto fills up with jeepneys competing for the same passengers, and the terminal mouth can jam when several drivers try to leave at once. Queue rather than cut in; the dispatcher NPC manages boarding order.
Balagtas - Bulakan: the middle line
Slightly longer at about four and a half in-game kilometres, with one wrinkle: Wawa sits in the fifth barangay, so it costs PHP 15 instead of PHP 13. Everything else on the route is the base fare.
The Balagtas terminal is the first major terminal most players see, and it is a reliable loader. It also tends to be a head-to-head fight, because several jeepneys spawn near it and everyone races to fill first.
Malolos - Bulakan via Atlag: the money line
Roughly ten in-game kilometres each way, seven fare steps from PHP 14 up to PHP 25, and the most complicated change arithmetic in the game. It is also the only route where a big jeepney pays for itself quickly.
The Malolos terminal sits on a narrow street, so loading is slower and less forgiving, while the route itself carries the landmarks people actually recognise: the Malolos Cathedral, the Iglesia ni Cristo chapel, the public market and Bulacan State University on the Guiguinto side.
Comparing routes as businesses rather than as drives
| What you care about | Best route |
|---|---|
| Learning the game | Guiguinto - Bulakan |
| Fast EXP to 500 | Guiguinto - Bulakan, repeated cleanly |
| Highest value per full load | Malolos - Bulakan via Atlag |
| Lowest fuel risk | Guiguinto - Bulakan |
| Practising change arithmetic | Malolos - Bulakan via Atlag |

Fare changes nothing with the jeepney you drive. What changes is how many seats you can sell, which is why the same route pays a Milwaukee jeepney one amount and a DF Devera another. The full comparison is on every jeepney: stats and prices.
The four towns and what they are for
| Town | Role on the map |
|---|---|
| Bulakan | The hub. Every route begins and ends here |
| Balagtas | Wide roads and industrial zones, a connector between areas |
| Guiguinto | The golden junction. Roads from Malolos, Balagtas and Bulakan converge here |
| Malolos | The city. Landmarks, narrow streets, heavy passenger traffic |
